Anyway, I haven't. I have 'tweeted' Tom Pelissero, but I can imagine he doesn't have time to answer to every random fan. The guys that I'm following on twitter (Greg Bedard, Tom Pelissero and Rob Demovsky) haven't made any updates on him. Haven't seen anything on Packers sites either.

So far, all that is out there is that it is, like you said a 'serious shin injury' and that he has been brought to the hospital.

Hats off to the Bills trainer that rushed out to the field and stabilized his leg while the Packers trainers were on their way out to him.

Damn, I'm glad I didn't have to see that. Anytime there's a big time injury like that it just makes me cringe. The biggest example for me is when NBA player Shaun Livingston had his leg bend to the side. Almost threw up.

Yeah, it's a tough break, but he was probably a long shot to make the roster even with Humphrey's injury. Put the kid on IR and let him rehab and try to come back next year. I think there's enough value in Havner right now as a two-way player to keep him on the roster as the 3rd TE this season.

I know someone who went back on DVR and watched it again, and he said it looked like a broken tibia. Apparently it didn't look bad on the tackle, but when he rolled over I guess it looked nasty.

They wouldn't. even show a replay, it must have been bad.

We had this kid in karate dislocate his ankle pretty badly, and the tibia and fibula sort of torqued from the pressure/release of pressure, so they were twisted around a bit inside his leg. Same thing may have happened here - I don't know. It sounds like it though, with the references to a "shin injury".
