I just bought my ticket for the Packer Viking game on November 1st. I want to see our new 3-4 defence decleat the legend who "didn't come back for revenge" which is crap I might add. Now the question is, is my throwing arm good enough to lob a beer bottle 22 rows and hit him on the bench...I don't think so but I might have to try.

If you do, do it near the end of the game, because the game is going to be epic and you won't want to miss it.

If you're going to throw a bottle, you might as well go all the way and make it a Molotov cocktail. :violent3:

I just noticed something... something that doesn't make me too happy. It's a monday nighter, which is a tuesday mid-nighter over here. I'm going to miss one of the greatest games off the season.

I can always take consolation in seeing our purple friends walk onto Lambeau, I guess.

Btw. You just bought a ticket? Prices must've skyrocketed already, right?

Rock, you might have to alter your routine a bit for that game. Go to bed early, take a few hours' nap, then watch the game.

That being said, I don't believe this game will be the titanic battle the media is sure to hype it up to be. At least I doubt it's going to fully justify the astronomical ratings it will receive. The Packers have handled the Vikings pretty convincingly in recent years, and even with (or maybe particularly with) Favre at the helm, I don't see this changing much. After all, unless he decides to show off, his main job is going to be handing off to Adrian Peterson anyway, not to mention this will be over through the season, at which point it will be impossible to predict his level of health or effectiveness.

Speaking as a football fan and not just a Packers fan here, I honestly don't believe the Packers have all that much to worry about. Play solid, fundamental football, contain the run, force Favre to beat you with his arm. Favre better be throwing lasers on target all night, because we have a stable of defensive backs who will be dying to jump routes and run picks back to the house.

I really couldn't agree more...and I think thats the first time I have agreed with anything that has come out of your mouth...well fingers really. But yes I'm not to worried about the game I just wish to see what happens to Favre when he throws 4 picks and his running back gets carted off the field again with a broken leg.

And no ticket prices weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I am in row 26 which I consider a pretty good seat though its section 130 which if you look is right on the end zone but that doesn't really matter, you can see the entire field from that staidum so I am sure I will have a great view of Farve tarnishing his legacy and making an ass out of himself.

And its a Sunday game at Noon according to the schedual, I think you were thinking of the first Packer/Viking game but I am not driving to Minnisota for any games thank you very much.

I will be there unless I can sell my tickets. I thought I would make an easy $1,000 but ticket prices seem to be much softer than I expected. The ticket brokers are starting at about $700/pair but ebay is currently around $500/pair unless you want premium seats.

This is one game I really don't need to be at. It'd also be the first time I cashed in.

Mucky Tundra (19h) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (19h) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (19h) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (19h) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (20h) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (20h) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (20h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (20h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (21h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
beast (22h) : It's not official until I'm dead! I have a chance still! (Not really)

Mucky Tundra (26-Apr) : saw the tweet, he meant the city
Mucky Tundra (26-Apr) : Was that for the team or the city?

Martha Careful (26-Apr) : Bum Phillips used to say there are two ways to get better. Get better players or get players to play better. We have a new DL coach
Zero2Cool (26-Apr) : Yes. Look at the losses last year. They can win.
beast (26-Apr) : Can Packers win with their current DL?
bboystyle (26-Apr) : waiting for a pass rusher.

dfosterf (25-Apr) : 7 minutes between picks in the 2nd round
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : Sorry to bitch, but the headline writers in that section absolutely mislead, or don't know how to read. It is maddening
Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
TheKanataThrilla (25-Apr) : Pickens for Jaire may be interesting. Definitely not sure we want Pickens long term.
