That is how I expect our starting QB and possibly the face of the franchise to conduct himself. Much improved over a month old interview..

Damn.. can't wait for him to start throwing rockets this fall.

Ah, so you're finally getting over that interview.

Anyway, good interview. All the standard good answers.

More predictable and outdated crap from the media. If I were Rodgers I would have unzipped and pissed on their shoes.

They wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't ask those questions. Like it or not, this is one of the bigger stories in the NFL right now. I'm glad we have a guy who can handle it with grace.

LOL... more in humor than anything else.. but if he shall make another mistake and let that cocky side shine through.. I might not find it so humorous.. want to be paid like the face of the franchise.. then act like it.

I know if I did an interview like that as part of the representation of my company.. I would have got my beaten ass handed to me twice over..

I can't wait for Rodgers to hoist that Lombardi Trophy high in the air for a couple reasons. We can throw Brett in the closet and finally appreciate the QB we have now; and Rodgers can finally relax and be himself (poor bastard has had to walk on eggshells since he got to GB).

And 93, if Rodgers keeps putting up 4000 yard seasons and 25+ touchdowns, he can walk around like Ric Flair for all I care, Woooooo!

Yep.. this almost confirms it.. I am wired differently.

To me.. there is a huge gap between "cocky" and confident enough to handle the burning fire.

I will take a man that speaks like Aaron has here ( and almost all of his interviews to date) that speaks like it matters not what happens around him.

Confident and poised needs no words spoken.. cocky is all about words and disrespect.

I will embrace this Aaron without question...

Nothing wrong with the way you're wired, man - the world has certainly become a less classy place, and that's probably not a good thing.

Personally, while I would probably prefer it if he would maybe word some of those cocky comments a different way, I haven't been offended or overly bothered by Rodgers' comments. In re: Kampmann, I do think that was some inside joke action that we outsiders don't have the context to understand - he may be young and, at times, brash, but it would be very stupid to throw a guy like that under the bus. He hasn't demonstrated stupidity otherwise, so Occam's Razor points to there being humor involved.

Damn i have called him cocky and saying he has a huge ego from day 1 but noone will listen, but then again he can't do anything wrong ( oops take that back he can't win games but that don't count) I mean hell he throws for 4000 yards so he is great after 1 year.

When he can start putting the team on his back and win games i might come around, until then he should make sure he always has the Packers PR guy with him when he is out in public. We have seen what happens when they aren't around him.

Anyone have a Jessica sighting in Green Bay yet?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : 49ers have a money problem if they want to sign their QB

Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (10-Feb) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (10-Feb) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : oh fuck me i messed that up
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
