The things about Larry Johnson are completely different. The HC SAID that about the player. It wasn't the player wearing a diaper. Huge difference.

edit, wait, did LJ cry? Anyhow, I'm not saying Crabtree can't make it big because he got teary eyed over any reason at all. Just saying, getting teary over something that petty would make me keep a lil closer eye on him. Could have been a fluke or just nothing at all. There's NOTHING wrong with having that much passion. I would just prefer players not cry over something so petty like that. I'd rather them throw there helmet down throwing a tantrum instead lol

He's still young. Of course, this isn't normal, but I wouldn't take too much out of it right now. Don't know how getting hit would be related to this either, but hey, makes for a fun article.

I was happy when we didn't draft him right at the start. I know it didn't make Dhazer too happy, and I would've loved to see Foster blow a fuse, but this is what bottered me most.

When is hazer ever happy? When's the last time we've seen a positive opinion by his part for any move that Ted Thompson has done.

Thing is.. Passion is passion. Each person expresses it differently.

Some (very few) guys cry. Others show anger. Either way, it's a good sign.

I suppose after your team losing four Super Bowl's you would know all about crying, huh? 🙂

I know what you mean, just can't help think that it's a bit immature. That's not saying he can't grow up or anything like that. I mean tearing up because you can't work out? Ask the QB's to work out separately with ya or work out on your own.

Michael Crabtree is starting to remind me (and maybe the rest of the 49ers) of Private Pyle.

NFP- Rest of 49ers disciplined because of Crabtree

...A 49ers source told me this week, however, of an episode this offseason that rubbed some of his teammates the wrong way. The source said that Crabtree, rehabbing his foot, showed up late for a meeting, prompting coach Mike Singletary to prescribe extra running for the entire team. Crabtree, per the source, did not say a word to his teammates about it - no apology.
