I can't speak for the rest of the country, but in California, I'm convinced the majority of marriages end because one person is a complete idiot with money. In mine, it's my wife.

Obviously, I can't give you any advice, but I do wish you a hapy marriage and life.

OK AKamp74......The first thing you do there in Grand Rapids is head over to a Subway Sandwich Shop and ask for Barry Weldon. He owns several around there. Then order up all the food you want and tell him to put it on his bill. You see, he's my cousin (our mothers are sisters) and he owes me big time. If he asks what he owes me, just tell him "jeez, if you don't remember your cousin Bob sure does." That should set him off pretty good.

Then after a few minutes while he looks stupidly around you tell him," HA your cousin Frizzle-off got you again. God, you Michigan alumni are dumb."

Anyway, congratulations and good luck. My lovely wife and I celebrate number 45 on July 10. And yes, there is a Barry Weldon (wife is Ann) in Grand Rapids and he does own some Subway Shops, and he is my cousin.

Wow, thanks for the advice all. I will definitely take a lot of this information and run with it. I won't need to print it out because as Zero said,"She's happy cuz you spend more of your time here." Couldn't be further from the truth because I love this damn site... ha ha.

MontanaBob...if you can give me an exact store I would seriously go into one and see if I could find him. I am going to be there for about a week so if you want to make this happen, give me some info.

I seriously appreciate the info though. There is so much going on right now its just craziness. Hopefully July 3rd is perfect for her...as long as I have a Jack n Coke in my hand....it is good for me. She might need a little more for it to be perfect.

Another hint: Don't think you need to go out and lay in a store of Viagra for your wedding night. A wise man once told me:

"Everyone always thinks they're going to have wild crazy sex on their wedding night. You don't. By the time everything's done, you're so exhausted from all the preparations that you just crash."

He was right. :downtown:

This is precisely the reason you get married on the beach with a few family members only... I will always remember Maui.. 😉

I'll see what I can come up with. I know he and his wife run several in and around Grand Rapids. I'll be out of town for a few days so I may not be able to get that info.

Ironman- she was only an Ohio St. fan (boo) and a fan of when I played. The transition to Green Bay Packers football was smooth and easy and she even bought me my Hawk jersey.

As far as the viagra/sex...that made me laugh so hard. Chances are I will be more tired than she is. When I drink, I dance, and when I dance I get real tired. I will be drinking...so I will be dancing...and I will definitely pass out...party is till 1 am.

Can't really say much that hasn't been said.. Zombie and Nonstop hit the points I would've said.

A few one liners I've learned that helped TREMENDOUSLY:

'A woman doesn't need the vow of the promised land. She needs to see the map to the promised land.'

'A man needs respect like a woman needs love'

beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
