"Let me get this question out of the way. The continuing saga of Brett Favre . . . how does that affect Aaron Rodgers?"
Why the HELL did Larry McCarren ask that stupid question? Trying to pass it off as somehow obligatory ("Let me get this question out of the way") was just moronic.
Drop the freaking topic. It's so try-hard and so . . . obvious.
I think Aaron Rodgers is a great interview. He's articulate, humorous, outgoing, and 99% of what he says is unstintingly positive. At the same time, he's not saccharine sweet; I like his edgy style. Even more importantly, he is actually frank and candid and uncompromising -- a refreshing change from Mike McCarthy's chronic evasiveness. He's also not afraid to call people into account.
I have to say I was surprised that he had such high words to say about Tony Moll. Most fans are extremely harsh on Moll. Though he was also quick to point out that he doesn't have a chance to beat out Clifton in a head-to-head competition.
I like what he has to say about McCarthy making them all work harder than his predecessor did.
