Unless Ryan Grant stumbles and gets kicked off the team for a lack of pure productivity, I don't see Kregg Lumpkin as a real contributor to this team right now. Sure, he's looking quite impressive, but we have a 2nd round pick in Brandon Jackson who has more experience and has his share of speed too. Also, we can't forget DeShawn Wynn who seems to have matured and is taking every opportunity to fruition by being good on almost every facet of his game.
Kregg Lumpkin as of now is kind of like a Tony Fisher. Good to have around, but not really an asset to the team.
But I like where we are at running back. This competition should be good for all four guys. I still think our team should be heading the RB-By-Committee route though.
