Reggie Bush is on the list? A man who has ridden the pine for a decent chunk of his career -- and isn't slated to be a starter this year either? Wow, that's asinine.

And as for Big Ben . . .

Passing: 281/469 (59.9%) for 3,301 yards (7.0 ypc), 17 TDs, 15 INTs, 46 sacks, 80.1 QB RTG. Rushing: 34 attempts for 101 yards (3.0 ypa) and 2 TDs. Fumbles: 14 (7 lost).

Compare this to . . .

Passing: 341/536 (63.6%) for 4,038 yards (7.5 ypc), 28 TDs, 13 INTs, 34 sacks, 93.8 QB RTG. Rushing: 56 attempts for 207 yards (3.7 ypc) and 4 TDs. Fumbles: 10 (3 lost).

Fewer TDs, fewer rushing yards, more INTs, and more fumbles. Yes, anyone who'd choose Roethlisberger over Rodgers is delusional. 😃

I must be delusional because I think Big Ben is a better QB. :)

That drive against Arizona was something in my opinion.

Although clearly Rodgers is going to put up way better numbers because of the system he's in. If this guy wanted to go by a numbers standpoint, Rodgers is probably a top five quarterback next year.

The more I look at it the more it's ridiculous. Ryan Clady is an amazing left tackle. HE should be more ahead of Jake Long. Clady outplayed Long in every phase of the game last year. No way are they back to back.

Steve Smith is way to high. I wouldn't rate him 80 spots above Greg Jennings assuming Jennings would've fallen between 100-110.

Irony is the fact that he puts Rivers in the top 20 which I believe is about right and tries to make it a surprise or something that would catch a football fan off guard is kind of funny.

As far as Packers on the list.

Woodson I'd rate in the top 40.

Jennings probably top 70.

Rodgers in top 90.

Kampman would normally make the list, but the position change keeps him off.

Well, then I hope we get to see a Rodgers/Roethlisberger Super Bowl one of these days. :D

I still think Big Ben has ridden the back of an exceptional defense the past five years.

56-24 win loss record and 2 superbowl rings and 1 conference championship loss, not to bad for being in the league for 5 years. I guess you can call me delusional :p

Also being 13-0 as a starter as a rookie doesn't hurt much lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Holy ****!

I said this several months ago and got NOTHING but flack from just about everyone else on this board. Everyone else said Big Ben is a sure bet Hall of Famer. Come on. I'd much rather have Rodgers, and that's not even my Green & Gold lenses showing. I'm a Favre fan (Favre is my favorite QB), and I even still say this.

Like I said before, I want Big Ben to buy me a lottery ticket. That first SB win, he was downright pathetic. The 2nd SB win came down to one play - Kurt Warner throwing an INT from the Steeler 1 and getting it returned for a TD. That's 14 points right there.

As for Cutler vs Rodgers - who is the better scrambler? Who has the higher TD %? Who has the lower INT %? Who has the higher completion %?

Cutler is going to regret going to da Bears, a D first team where the HC is absolutely clueless about what an O is.

Come on, is it really necessary to throw around the "douchebag" epithet? Calling people names like this takes so little thought that it drives me nuts. Either state that you disagree and move on or tell us why you disagree with this list.

One play to win the Super Bowl is kind of ridiculous. By logic you can go through every single close game ever and say it came down to one play. There is always going to be a pivotal play in each game. You say 99 yard INT return for TD and I say blown coverage against Fitzgerald in the 4th.

Great Games have a lot of good plays to choose from.

Numbers are Numbers. You take Rodgers one year of body of work and put it up against Ben's this year, but as always, it's a what happen recently type of deal.

In 2007, Ben threw 32 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 3.000+ yards and had over 100 QB rating.

All while going 10-6 and leading the team to a division title.

Yet that year is not included in the discussion.

Not saying one is much much better than the other, but right now, I'm taking Ben if I had to win one game. I've seen him win in the clutch. Like it or not, Rodgers has never done that. Do I think he will? Sure, but why would I take that chance especially if I'm a coach.

Both QB's are similar. Both can win the game if they have too and both can manage the game if they have too. Ben is far more accomplished as DH pointed out and he also has an Elway mystique type of drive under his belt in the Super Bowl.

It's like arguing with people over Brady and Manning a few years ago. I took Brady then and I'll take Brady now and I'll take Brady over Manning forever. Yeah his numbers weren't as good as Manning's, but that's because they didn't need to be.

If you put Ben in the proper system, he'll put up big numbers. He's not this 17 TD 15 INT career type of guy. He's going to do what's needed of him.

Rodgers did a lot of encouraging things last year, but it's all encouraging. It's not constant yet.

You can project. I project with Matt Ryan all the time. I'll take Matt Ryan No. 1 overall if I had to completely overhaul a team. I'm projecting. However, Ryan could be a bust. I could be wrong.

Right now though, Ben is ahead of Ryan on my rankings because I don't need to project with him.

With Rodgers vs. Ben, you'd need to project them down the road. I don't want this to get into a Ryan, Ben, Cutler, Rodgers thing, but I would probably project Rodgers and Ben to be pretty close down the road.

That's in the future though. Not now.

I hope that I explained that well enough.
