Mike Florio has said several positive things. In fact he agreed that the Packers made the right 'decision' with selecting Rodgers and moving forward with Rodgers.
However, he does not say many positive things. Why? Because turmoil sells, cheery does not. Blame the game, not the player.

As an avid PFT reader i have to say i have never really noticed much bias with florio and freinds(or atleast they will outright admit it when they are). If you read most of the articles on the site, they take issue with virtually *EVERY* aspect of every football team that happens to become public in any way shape or form. They talk trash about anyone and everyone, pretty consistantly. I think the people who think he has some sort of grudge agaisnt the packers only ever read the site when some negative article is linked. If you read the site regularly, you'll see that he is very hard on ANY player whining about contracts, or anything else that could possibly be considered questionable.
The section where most of the articles are posted, after all is called the "rumor mill", if what other purpose for than to stir stuff up? It just so happens that he tends to have a lot more information, a lot quicker than everyone else. Most of his stuff tends to be pretty accurate, and they stand by and admit it when their stories are false, unlike ESPN etc.
The whole Donald Driver thing actually started on JSO first, and Florio picked up the story from there, with virtually the same tone as the original article. So, say what you want about him, but you'll have to say the same about the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, atleast in the case of the driver story, and heck the most of the stuff he has posted about Collins, its just echoed from what was reported by JSO as well.
Of course he adds his own opinion to the site, and for his benifit he tends to take a controversial stance on most things, but you guys should read some of the stuff he posts about other teams, and players. I dont think that the packers should somehow be exempt from this treatment mearly because i am a huge fan of the team, nobody is in the age of instant information, and instant commentary. Its a niche form of media, and you have to of course take it for what it is and with a grain of salt, but i sure enjoy it way more than sitting around, and not knowing anything but what the talking heads mindlessly chatter on about on sports center.
JSO reporting Bigby/Collins mixup.
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/46545667.html Keep an eye on this on PFT, i would be really surprised if there is not some sort of retraction, or atleast reference to JSO's story about PFT them being wrong. But even in this case, they were simply reporting someone else's interview/story. Surely you can argue they should have had the brains in the editing department to figure it out, but its not like *they* actually made the screw up and did the interview.
