Well since we inked Bush to a multi-year deal.. there must be a reason that he will be upon the field and contributing.. I want to hear some of the reason for that, instead of everyone trying to torch the young man. 😉

Just don't make me say something nice about the Bikini Girls. The only one I dislike more than them is Greg Jennings.

Then you assigned me the wrong player, that's for sure. I was fearing Brian Brohm or Anthony Harris. Although I was hoping for a QB with my personal background. I don't mind scorching another CB. 😉

Pro Summary
[ul] * Former non-drafted free agent and waiver-wire pickup looks to continue his steady improvement and enters his third season in Green Bay in the middle of a heated competition for the nickel corner spot, a job he held for a good portion of 2007
* Remains a mainstay on the coverage units, having recorded double digits in special teams tackles each of his two years in the league for 24 total
* Along with fellow young corner and nickel competitor Tramon Williams, is often referenced by the coaching staff as a prime example of the team's improve-from-within philosophy, as a young promising player who has steadily gotten better each year
* Began 2007 as the team's nickel corner and recorded 23 tackles (18 solo) and eight passes defensed, the first of his career in either category
* Played in all 16 games in rookie 2006 season despite joining Green Bay just a week prior to the season opener
* One of four Packers rookies to play in every game (Daryn Colledge, A.J. Hawk and Tony Moll were the others)
* Initially made his mark on special teams, totaling 13 tackles, good for third on the team
* Claimed off waivers by Green Bay from Carolina on Sept. 3, 2006
* Ranked among the NCAA leaders in passes defensed as a senior at Utah State in 2005
* Originally signed with Carolina as a non-drafted free agent on May 5, 2006[/ul]

2007 Season
[ul] * Served as the club's primary nickel back much of the year, playing in 14 games plus two playoff contests
* Earned his first NFL start for an injured Charles Woodson at Dallas (Nov. 29) but soon thereafter sustained an injury of his own (calf) and missed two games
* Recorded 23 tackles (18 solo), eight passes defensed and 11 special teams tackles
* Vs. Philadelphia (Sept. 9), played as the nickel back, but took Al Harris' right cornerback spot when he went out for parts of two series with an elbow injury; made three tackles (two solo). Was a major factor on special teams, coming up with a fumble recovery and tying for a team high with three special teams stops. Sprinted downfield after a Jon Ryan punt with 1:09 remaining and pounced on the ball following a muffed catch from Eagles PR J.R. Reed. The recovery gave the Packers possession, leading to a game-winning, 42-yard field goal by Mason Crosby with two seconds left. Also provided big hit on earlier muffed punt, by Eagles' Greg Lewis, that was eventually recovered by Tracy White for a Green Bay touchdown
* At New York Giants (Sept. 16), had a team-high two passes defensed
* At Minnesota (Sept. 30), substituted for an injured Harris (hand) in the third quarter; tied for a team high with two special teams tackles
* Posted two special teams tackles vs. Carolina (Nov. 18); provided a key block on Tramon Williams' 94-yard punt return, getting kicker John Kasay out of the way downfield (Kasay punted out of field goal formation)
* At Detroit (Nov. 22), played at left cornerback after Woodson left in the second quarter with a toe injury; recorded two passes defensed and one solo tackle
* Started the next game at Dallas (Nov. 29) for an injured Woodson and posted a pass defensed
* Injured a calf vs. Oakland (Dec. 9) and missed contests at St. Louis (Dec. 16) and at Chicago (Dec. 23)
* Returned vs. Detroit (Dec. 30) and downed a 72-yard Ryan punt on the Detroit 1-yard line; the Lions went three-and-out on the subsequent drive
* Played in the Divisional playoff contest vs. Seattle (Jan. 12) on special teams
* Had a pass defensed in the NFC Championship Game vs. New York Giants (Jan. 20)[/ul]

2006 Season
[ul] * Played in all 16 games during rookie campaign
* Saw most of his action on special teams while appearing in six games (15 snaps) as a reserve defensive back
* His 13 tackles on special teams tied for third on the team
* Made his NFL debut in the season opener, vs. Chicago (Sept. 10)
* Saw his first defensive action the following week vs. New Orleans (Sept. 17) at left cornerback after Harris left for the locker room (cramps)
* At Detroit (Sept. 24), stopped Eddie Drummond on a key fourth-quarter kickoff return at Detroit's 16-yard line
* Vs. St. Louis (Oct. 😎, posted an early career-high three special teams tackles; later matched the total at Miami (Oct. 22)
* In the fourth quarter of 23-17 victory at Minnesota (Nov. 12), was the first one down the field on a Ryan punt and pressured returner Mewelde Moore into muffing the catch but inadvertently kicked the ball out of the end zone, resulting in a touchback; later, on kickoff that opened the second half, drew an illegal-block-above-the-waist penalty on Artose Pinner, negating a 102-yard touchdown return by Bethel Johnson
* Played five snaps at cornerback at San Francisco (Dec. 10), when Woodson had to temporarily leave the game with a shoulder injury; also tallied a special teams tackle
* Originally signed with Carolina on May 5 as a non-drafted free agent; subsequently waived by the Panthers on Sept. 2[/ul]

* Recorded 20 tackles and one interception among four passes defensed in 11 games (two starts) as a junior
* Began his collegiate career at American River (Calif.) Junior College
* Was all-state, all-region and all-league as a cornerback and return specialist as a sophomore in 2003

Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : @AaronNagler · 2m Both Jordan Love and Malik Willis were Limited participants at Packers practice today.

Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : HUMP DAY
beast (8-Jan) : Guys that have a good shot at making the NFL Hall of Fame usually get into their teams pretty fast
beast (8-Jan) : Yeah, but is Kampman and the others in the NFL Hall of Fame?
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Johnson was Hall of Fame, 2020. Should haev been in Ring a year later, not three years.
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : I could be wrong there though

Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later
beast (8-Jan) : Yeah, usually teams hall of fames are a much lower bar than the NFL
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (8-Jan) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : McCarthy let go or not extended??
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Chicago Bears have asked the Dallas Cowboys permission to interview Mike McCarthy for head coaching vacancy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : The winners page that is
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I was not hoping for that. It messes up the page lol
beast (6-Jan) : Thank you, and I was really opening we were going to get 4 or more tied for the top 3.
beast (6-Jan) : Thank you, and I was really opening we were going to get 4 or more tied for the top 3.

Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : congrats beast on 2024 !
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : congrats porky on winning 2023 pick'em! (oops sorry)
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : Packers have $60M+ of 2025 cap space on paper TODAY.
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I'm hoping for BLOODBATH. Pummel one another.
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : 8 people in pick'em would have won any year with their total lol
