I don't know about G.M., but I think I could do a better job in the personnel department, or at least the job title department.

I am still quite bothered by this gentleman's title and job description. I truly believe that at least from a public relations standpoint this man deserves an assistant, or at least tell the public he has one, for God's sake.

From the Green Bay Packers official website:

Bill Miller, Plumber/Beverage Systems Technician

Call me crazy, but I don't like my shitter repairman fixing my beertap.

Here is one more thing that's scary about the position held by Mr. Miller.

What if he has a disagreement with Packer management and becomes disgruntled for some reason?

Stay away from the black and tan is all I'm sayin'...

Actually, I don't think anyone should bitch about cars. That drives me nuts. Fords better than Chevy, blah. It's a freaking production line! If you take 100 random cars and drive them equally for each manufacture the results will be equal. Except for Dodges, they suck with tranny's lol

"TheEngineer" wrote:

100 cars is not a reasonable sample size to determine a statistically significant (in)difference, so obtaining similar performance may well be down to chance. Furthermore, it's the comments by the consumers that ultimately drive the industry forward (hah, get it?). Constructive criticism makes the world go round.

As for our GM, I ask for nothing more than to the make the best informed decision, within a reasonable period of time, for the benefit of the Green Bay Packers. If the action/inaction is logically sound, based on the information obtained from the internal and external environment, then that's all I really can ask for.

I don't need to have experience to know we should have pushed hard for Moss 3 years ago, not drafted an injury prone Harrell, kept Favre for one more year at least, not gotten our O-line from the bargain bin and actively sought out a top notch pass defending line backer.

Ted is doing a good job in my opinion, but he's playing it safe. Already talks of getting rid of Jennings and some other guys and replacing them with "potential guys" from the draft. Instead of making a run at a superbowl, this will just re-cycle the mediocrity on our roster from year to year. Unless you can land Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, this strategy has limitations. You're basically just waiting or depending on hitting gold in the draft. When Harris and Woodson are too old to play at a top level which is already starting to happen, our defense may be in trouble. Hopefully we go to an agressive blitzing scheme which can mask problems in a secondary if you're getting pressure.

Which linebacker are you talking about?

And I fail to see that Harris and Woodson are declining in their abillity to play.
