OldMan keeps saying how "he feels BF felt this or that".
You know what? In all my years of working, my various bosses didn't always do what i wanted.
Oh my GAWD!!! Imagine THAT!!!! I didn't always get my way! So i should get po'd, and jerk my boss around and take my ball and go home!!!
Geez......someone obviously thinks BF is perfect, and it's everyone elses fault when things go wrong!
I love BF.......but i'm not blind to the FACT that the guy is ONLY human, and has made mistakes, and made the moves that caused most of the mess that some want to blame Ted Thompson for.
Had he not flip flopped, would we be talking about this now???
It's NOT like Ted Thompson said "Whether or not BF retires or not, we don't want him on the team." Nope.......thats not what happened. BF not being able to make up his mind and STICK with it caused the whole mess after that.
I can't understand WHY thats so hard for some people to grasp?
The only thing i can come up with is blind hero worship.
If you quit your job, your ex-employer owes you NOTHING.
The Packers (AND TT) were willing to let Favre come back after he retired, then he pulled the ol' switcheroo on them again.
How many times do you feel they were some how obligated to bow to his wishes? (Which we now know, could change day to day)
I know the answer already.........BF could have changed his mind EVERY day between his retirement speach and opening day and you would have felt the Packers OWED it to him to let him start......am i right???
