The question was "how much could TED get for Aaron" and remember Ted got a 2nd rounder for someone that everyone knew we were going to let walk. That guy was a DL who are far easier to come by than a QB who makes good throws and can lead your team. I'd have to say Ted could get atleast a 2nd and 3rd for him plus another player of backup talent.

sorry, i just do not see to many teams giving up three players for aarron rodgers. not after one season.

rodgers had a decent statistical year in a system he has been in for four years, but that does not make him an elite NFL QB imho

McCarthy is entering his fourth year, so how could have Rodgers been in the system for four years? Season 1, 8 - 8. Season 2, 13 - 3. Season 3, 6 - 10.

He had two seasons riding the pine and played his third in the system.

I said that wrong about my what Ted could get. 2nd rounder and a 3rd OR a backup talent player. Only two players for Rodgers straight up.

If you are say the Detroit Lions and need a QB, you'd be Matt Millen stupid to not entertain that offer. Any team who needs a QB would be foolish to pass that up.

That is pretty funny.

No way AR would get anything less than 2 picks, one of which would be a first rounder.

You also have to remember that other NFL Team's GMs aren't mad at Ted Thompson for trading Brett Favre.
