Spring......Bah, Humbug!!

First day of Spring today. The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, the grass is green. HA!!! Flowers are under a fresh 8 inches of snow, the birds headed south again, and the grass peeked out from the snow and promptly died. :ramboface:

What's gonna be fun by this afternoon is we are suppossed to hit near 60 degrees. There is gonna be some heavy water runoff heading downhill from our house. I'm going to look for my toy boats (probably in the bathtub) and my neighbor and I are going to have boat races down the big run-off gully at the end of our street.

Heck, if it gets deep enough, I'm filling up the old inner tube and ride that sucker down to the bottom. Let's see......vertical drop of 500 feet in a quarter mile....that ought to be exciting. :thumbright:

LOL.....I've given up trying to outwit them. I'm going to train them to mow my lawn and rake leaves. gotta get some good use out of them.

We live just south of Missoula, about 8 miles. We are on the west side of the Bitterroot Valley, about 450-500 feet about US Highway 93. We are on the West side of the continental divide, so if any water from here gets to Lake Sakakawea then most of the northern US is going to be under water.

Longtimefan...I'll try to see what I can get. I'm pretty dumb as to posting pictures on here....but if somebody will coach me through, I'll see what I can do.
