Sounds awesome cheesey! glad you had a great time. How was Allen Barbre? when i went to tc, waitin outside the players parking lot the night before, he was like the only person who stopped to sign autographs, other than some random coach lol. everyone else just drove by and waved.

Barbre seemed like a nice guy too. I love it when players interact with the fans. Those are the guys that realize that without us, they wouldn't be millionaires.
I'm still surprised how Greg Jennings is with the fans. Like i stated earlier, he would wait for several people to go through, then just stop and look at whatever the person put down for him to sign, and then say "Sorry, i can't sign that". Then break out a big smile and reach over and pat the fan on the shoulder.
The picture i had him sign for me (which you can see in my photo) was one i took of him at his first OTA (organized team activity) in 2006. He said, "Oh yeah.....the OTA's, the OTA's" then started laughing. Right after that was when i video taped him messing up this poor little boy about not signing. He was just having a good time with everyone, and never seemed to mind taking the time for us "little people".

Zombie......i hope you get to see the pictures! All i had was one of those "point and shoot disposable cameras." I had so much stuff to drag around already, i left my good camera at home. The darn thing is heavy, and when you add in the extra lens and flash, with my weight restriction of lifting only 10 pounds, something had to stay at home.

ILikethepackers, I have been TRYING to get some rest! Believe me, Sunday I could hardly move, i was so sore from the previous 2 days. But i STILL went for a 30 minute walk anyway. If i want to get better, i have to push myself. Believe me, it would be VERY easy to get frustrated and give up, as it seems like progress is SO slow. Yesterday was exactly 4 weeks since my operation, and i think i did pretty darn good all things considered!
I have to see my cardiologist tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully all will go well with him.

Rock.......i think you really WOULD enjoy something like Fan Fest maybe more then a game. You get to get right up to the players, and you get to see places that are ONLY available to fans to see at Fan Fest, like the Packer locker room. (I would have LOVED to make off with Rodger's jersey, but there's no way i could have outrun security!!!)LOLOL!!!

AJistheHawk........I know you would enjoy Fan Fest too! I have been fortunate enough to have made it to all 5 now. If you like getting autographs and pictures of the players, it's the place to be! I hope you DO get a chance to go to one some day! Thats why i try to share my expieriences at things like that. Not to brag that i got to go, but to try to share it with my Packer family that don't have the chance to do something like that. This way, at least you and others can get a feel of what it was like.

Man, I think Bigby and Chillar smoked a bowl together before going to this thing.

Nice pics Cheesemeister! I went 2 years ago and it was far more fun than I even thought it was going to be. Glad you enjoyed it.

It is fun, because of the close interaction you get, that you won't get at a game. This was the first one that didn't sell out all 3500 tickets.
That was ok with me......it wasn't quite as crowded!

I do believe Favre will someday come back to at LEAST one Fan Fest. That is IF he can ever stop holding a grudge long enough to do so.
It's really ALL up to him. The Packers have let him know they want him involved with the Packer organization. But if he can't put his hurt feelings aside, who knows how long it might be.
He SHOULD do it, if for NOTHING else, the FANS that supported and loved him his whole time here.
There's alot more to the Green Bay Packers then TT. So if he wants, STAY mad at TT......but cut us and the rest of the organization some slack.
He would be LOVED here, even with his one year in NY.
But who knows what he will do.
I STILL feel that if his Dad had been here, all this would never have happened in the first place. Thats JUST my opinion. But anytime you heard Brett talk about his Dad, he ALWAYS said his Dad would straighten him out at ANY time he thought he was out of line. Whether it was life, or football.

Even if he does stop holding a grudge (he will), I don't think fan fest would qualify as his kind of thing.

I don't know.........after a year or two of not having people fawning all over him, he MAY just desire to recapture a little of that. Which if he showed up at Fan Fest, he would be "THE" star attraction.
You can see it in some of the players from the past. They ENJOY the admiration and love they get from the interaction with the fans that remember when they were "stars". Some probably srn't even recognized outside of die hard Packer fans.
This gives them a chance to relive some of their glory.
But who knows......maybe Favre won't care. Which would be a real shame.
It's 2 days out of a year, and i really think he would get a kick out of it.
Of course up to now, he has been getting $150 just to sign his name on a picture. So maybe he wouldn't want to do it just to make a REAL fan's day.
