Just a question i'm curious about? With all the love for Greg what would you guys think of him if he decides he wants to test the free agent market next year( if it is a capped year, uncapped year he can't do free agency). And what would you folks think of Ted Thompson if he didn't resign him? I know it probably won't come to this but just curious seeing so many people have man crushes on Jennings and Ted Thompson.

I don't have a man crush for TT. I don't like him especially. I'd be f-ing pissed though if we lost Jennings. That's when I'd jump to your bandwagon about firing TT.

It depends how it went down. If Jennings turned into a bitch and acted ridiculous (which I highly doubt) then I'd sour on him. If he's just looking for fairness and handles it like he's handled everything else and Thompson screws it up somehow, then I'd be pissed at Thompson.

I'd be disappointed. But if he handles himself well, i won't be disappointed in him, just disappointed by the thought that he may not stay a packer.

Many here overvalue Greg Jennings, I truly hope that Greg doesn't over value himself.

This will all come down to what type of demands or parameters Greg and his agent drops on the Packers. If it is a fair market deal, then I see it getting down without a lot of contention.

But if he is aloft on his demands, then franchise him and start shopping him on the league.

He is a very talented player and I truly hope that he remains a Packer, from everything you read about the guy, he is very grounded and has his priorities straight in life. So I completely expect this to be a fairly calm deal in terms of getting to a suitable number.

Really, I'd have no problem making him one of the highest paid WRs in the league. When talent like this comes around, you just don't let them go.

I have no problem making him one of the highest paid either, to me that would be a fair market value based on his performance.

But should he enter the negotiations with the intent of setting the pace for pay of WR's.. then, IMO, he would be out of line in his request.

Pay him in an average of the top 10 receivers in the league.. to me that is fair.
