I think free agency is to help put your team over. I always said you build through the draft and then you strike in free agency when you need that little push in the final direction. I felt Ron Wolf really put the 96 team over the top because of free agency.

I think GB has built via the draft the best you can do. Now would be the time to make a big move in my opinion.

With that said I'd be shocked to see Ted Thompson sign more than one mid tier guy. I'd be shocked to see Thompson sign someone in the first week. Nothing against Thompson yet, but his philosophy is very conservative when it comes to the off season.

There are plenty of qb's out there, not a need, there are plenty of LB's out there, IMHO not a huge need, there are a couple of Centers on the market, if Ted does make a move it might be in that area.
