She did lip sync the song but oh well. Like someone said previously, her family was just previously murdered and it is time to lighten up.

She has a beautiful voice and is from Chicago!

I don't think, in my eyes at least, Miss Hudson butchered the National Anthem.
I will believe till my dying day that English shoukd ne Americas official language and that the National Anthem and any other song revering The United States of America should be performed using the English language.

As I posted on another thread several days ago, go on google and find "The Cactus Cuties" and listen to their version of the National Anthem. Five part harmony and sung the way it should be sung.

And to the passing away of 3 family members. I don't really see how this has any influence on the way she sings the anthem. Don't get me wrong, I can totally understand the lip-syncing etc, but this seems to be somewhat unrelated.
