Yikes.. talk about weird.. sometimes I seriously have to wonder about people in general.

No Joke......

A 26-year-old Thorp man who broke into a town of Reseburg home allegedly wore face paint to resemble The Joker while assaulting his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, according to a Clark County criminal complaint.

Cole Vetterkind broke into Alecia Swensen's boyfriend's home at N12458 Gorman Ave., Thorp at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, sheriff's officials said. Vetterkind was shot in the leg when he attacked Jason Benzschawel, 23.

According to the criminal complaint:

Vetterkind entered the home with Joshua Kane, 22, of Stanley and began jumping on, hitting and choking Benzschawel while he was asleep in a bed with Swensen.

Benzschawel thought he was being hit with brass knuckles and said Vetterkind was wearing a ski mask. When the mask was pulled off during the altercation, he saw it was Vetterkind, who had his face painted like The Joker, played by Heath Ledger in the recent Batman movie, "The Dark Knight."

Wow. That reminds me of the time that two 20 year olds killed an old man dressed as Final Fantasy characters.

The gaming industry should jump onto this. I know it's horrible, but movies do this aswell, politicians should stop bashing games. It's just the small top of the iceberg guys that don't have everything alligned correctly in their head...

Anyway, this is pretty horrible. I like Joker the most aswell, but some people go way to far in resembling their favorite characters.

Cheesey.. I love you man! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love that movie, and Ledger was my second favorite actor in it (I loved Harvey Dent's character development more than Joker's). 'Why so serious' and 'Lets put a smile on that face' are the two best lines in that movie.

Rock.. So true. It's not just video games that influence the pyschos.. lol

BUUUUT.. Am I the only one who was not all that disturbed by this? I mean, the guy was beating on his ex's current 'thing'. Who cares, this happens EVERY hour at colleges all across the world. The only reason this makes the news is the assaulter was painted like the Joker.

Hell, if I'm ever going to beat the hell out of someone, I'M going to paint my face as the Joker. That's a more than fantastic idea!

I find it funny that the ski mask was pulled off during the scuffle to REVEAL the facepaint. I bet he was hoping for it. "Come on, punk, pull my mask off already! Stop letting me beat you about the face! PULL IT OFF SO I CAN SCARE YOU WITH AWESOMENESS!"
