Thank you Akamp!
I try to remain positive, no matter whats going on. Sometimes it just gets to be a little too much.
I have bilateral Meniere's disease
Asthma
Tinitus (which makes it hard to sleep)
Type 2 diabetes
Arthritus of the lower spine
Beningn essential tremors
Migraine headaches
Irregular heart beat
Hypertension
And now with my heart acting up, and the severe short term memory loss, it just kind of blew me away.
Knowing that my Packer "family" takes a few seconds to think/pray for me, DOES help. Sometimes this stuff just makes me feel kind of alone. I HATE telling my wife when i'm feeling bad (Like last night, she kept asking me what was wrong.....i said "I'm fine!" But she has been with me too long and i can't get away with a lie with her!) it's nice to come here and get the well wishes from people i talk with almost on a daily basis. I don't like to complain, i'd rather just keep it too myself. But this was just like an overflow that messed me up.
Even the strongest people need other people for support. To me, it's not a weakness to show we are not perfect. We can uplift others.......as you and others have done for me!!!

This reminds me of a joke...
A guy and his best friend are heavily into fishing. Every Friday, they can't wait to get off work so they can get into the car and disappear for the weekend going fishing.
One day, the guy meets a good woman and gets married. Well, he decides to have his honeymoon on a nice romantic lake. So he calls his best friend and tells him that she loves to sleep in so that first Sunday, he'll sneak out and meet him on the lake and they'll go fishing.
So Sunday comes and sure enough, his best friend is waiting for him with a boat. They go out on the boat and have a great time fishing when the guy finally tells his friend...
"I got some bad news."
"What's that?"
"My wife has cancer. It's really bad. She only has a few months to live."
"Oh, that's terrible."
"Yeah, to make matters worse, she has diabetes really bad and if the cancer doesn't kill her, the diabetes surely will."
"Oh, that's horrible."
"Yeah, to make matters worse, she also has hepatitis. She found out about it too late and if the cancer or the diabetes doesn't kill her, the hepatitis certainly will."
"Oh, that's really sad."
"Yeah, to make matters worse, she also has AIDS. It's too late for the AIDS treatment though, so if the other stuff doesn't get her, she'll soon die of AIDS."
"Oh, wow. Did you know all this stuff before you got married?"
"Yeah, but she also has worms and you know how much I love fishing."
Sorry to make light of your ailments, but knowing you, you could use a good laugh above all else. I've been blessed with good health but cursed with job luck. Every time I find a job I love, I get laid off. I've had my job outsourced before. I've worked at companies that went under. I've been part of downsizing. I've been unemployed for over a year and eventually homeless and the three of us and our dog lived in a cheap motel. But I learned that if you keep your sense of humor, God will eventually reward you.
Life isn't fair, but you just have to keep chugging away. You make us all laugh and if there's one person who stops posting for whatever reason I'd miss the most, it would be you. And there are quite a few people on here that I really, really like so that's saying something.
