I think the fans had really really high expectations in Carolina this season, like superbowl or bust. I know there was friction between Fox and the defense and there were rumors that Fox was bossing trgovac around. The sentiment is that the defense fizzled and fell short of expectations. Trgovac has a good track record in Carolina, but with the way their season ended, the fans wanted a few heads to roll. The defense under-performed, and the carolina fans still have a sour taste in their mouth over losing to arizona.

it sure is hard to attract good talent here because of cold weather and Ted THompson.

any agression the Panther fans feel Trgovac left on the field. the addition of Kevin Greene would surely fix that. guy is a pro wrestler in football pads. berserk.

don't listen to those panther fans. they are pissed because they thought they were Super Bowl champions already. even though they have serious flaws on both sides of the ball. they like whining more than winning.

This is shaping up to be one of the very best overall coaching staffs in the NFL. Some people feel McCarthy is to conservative but he is steady as a rock and a darn good OC.

The defensive staff is starting to look beyond what I think anyone would have imagined and I think Carolina's loss is our gain.

There's been talk of ego around here but I can tell you it's nothing like what I see going on around the league. I love watching Dallas implode their staff. They love jailbirds for ballplayers and scapegoats for coaches.

Fine by me. I hope they finish last in their division.

Damn. He's credited with developing Polamalu? Plus he's been working with Nmandi Asomugha and the Raider's secondary, a team that actually has a decent defense. This could be great.

Last week I let it be known that the Packers were interested in Kevin Greene. Today, that interest became official as KG was hired to coach up the OLBs.

He will be the most important coach on the staff... the OLBs are the most important players in the 3-4 defense and if they aren't hellraisers, your defense will suck.

Hot Rumor Alert:

There is interest in bringing in former All-Pro LB Kevin Greene to work with the Packers LBs. He has worked Dolphins & Steelers training camps during the past few years. You may or may not know, but he played with Dom Campers with the Carolina Panthers and he had a great 3 year stint with the Steelers.
