My initial response is that I don't know enough about O-Line coaching to say either way - but if Campen's responsible for the play of that unit, I'd say firing isn't enough - he ought to be shot.

(That was hyperbole - I don't want the man to be shot.)

So, no - I'm not at all sure we should keep him. And I'm a little pissed that he managed to escape the reaper last year when we were culling the coaching ranks. O-Line still sucks, as of week 2.

I have no idea who we would replace him with, but I'm still pissed off enough about yesterday's game to want some blood.

Maybe if Ted Thompson wouldn't build our starting o-line out of guys all drafted after the fourth round we might be better. Yes, you can find bargains that way and fill out a line but you can't get a bookend tackle that way, it's an extreme gamble.
