Williams, from what I had heard, took his GB numbers to the Saints to leverage his contract. He was offered the job, but decided not to take it.

Tough titties....guy burns a lot of bridges, is rumored not to play too well with others (hence, the burnt bridges), and clearly has designs on a new HC gig, IMHO.

My source has heard Haslett will be hired, announcement will be made on monday.

He was right about the defensive firings, so has some credibility. However the original source is different on this one, we will have to wait & see if this pans out as well.

I like the Haslett idea about as much as I liked the Nolan idea, which is to say, not at all.

What's with the Packers being linked to St. Louis personnel so often this offseason?
