Now this is two years in a row that LT is sitting on the sidelines during the post season.

San Diego has to be looking back at letting Turner go. LT just doesn't seem to have the ability to last a year anymore.

That's a pretty reactionary position to take about a guy who has played 127 of 128 regular season games. I'd say these past two postseasons were an aberration rather than a sign than LT "doesn't have the ability to last a year anymore."

I don't know about that. 1 year is an aberration, two years is a start of a trend. LT is now pushing 16000 yards combined. That is a lot of miles on a back.

He may be able to play through the playoffs, but SD has to be looking and thinking. What if.

I don't get what all the hate on LT is about. He had a good year, for a regular starting RB. It's just because he's Tomlinson that everyone's mad at him. I mean, you don't throw out the guy who's been in the league's top 5 rushers for seven years in a row, and had a good season last year. Maybe he just had a bad year, maybe some lingering injuries. Against a middle of the road Colts run D, he ran 5 yards per carry on five carries, WITH A TORN GROIN. If that's bad then I don't know what's good.

I think next year SD will have a two back system. With LT getting half his reps compared to this season to keep his legs fresh for a playoff run next year.
