All in all 8 injuries out of 90 players isn't too bad.
Of those 8, 4 of them (Callas, Jennings, Alexandre and Banks) have next to no chance of making the team. With a lingering injury it is possible to stash one or two of them on IR and red shirt them for the year if MLF and Gute like their potential.
Groin and hammys can linger on. I would hate to see Jacobs or Valentine miss significant time because of it. Lloyd is seeing his first playing time and from the reports he sounds like he will be ready and a big contributor on opening day. I looked at Valentine as a safety net in case Stokes cools off. Hopefully they won't need him to fill in as CB2.
I think Kraft will return fairly soon unfortunately it's going to take him about half the season to get up to speed.
I am not sure what to say about Cooper. It all depends on what they mean by a "hip injury". It's tough enough for rookies to effectively contribute even without missing time because of injuries. I guess McDuffie will see more playing time.
