Does this mean no Clements? I would like for him to stay another year or two before going off into the sunset as one of the best. Maybe Clements can pass his ways down to this new fella?

I don’t know why, but I don’t necessarily like the idea of an inferior NFL QB trying to teach Love how to be a QB lol.

Probably need to ignore that though, because seems like most former QB’s who go into coaching were not very good as players.

Yep, for generational athletes, playing is as natural as breathing. They can give some basic breakdown, but breaking down minute details, explaining them in a transferable message and the patience to see it flourish is another story.

This criticism is often leveled at QB School host JT O'Sullivan on social media but I'm willing to bet that he lasted like he did in the league (despite bouncing around) is because he was able to breakdown film quickly and efficiently and make good points in the QB room during the week.

It's why people like Michal Jordan can never coach. They have unrealistic expectations.

This will continue to be the trend as today’s athletes make so much money, they won’t put up with the non-sense that goes with coaching.

However , I would argue the best coaches are the ones who had average to below average physical talent and studied the game to learn every edge to stay init as long as they could.

Doug Pederson won an SB as a coach and we all know he was an inferior QB his whole career. Some QB's have the intellect but not the physical tools to be successful.
