I'm confused how they can even use that title of "4 Packers who aren't safe with Jeff Hafley as defensive coordinator" when 75% of those on the list are Free Agent and might never miss a game, and still might never even met the new Coordinator.
Owens, Savage and Nixon are all FAs. So they're not safely with the Packers just by the definition of being a FA. And they mostly just link their reasoning to Hafley use of the single high safety, which Hafley says he does because college has so many running QBs.
Also, being used more in a SS role might actually help to all of them. And even their point of Savage missing tackles, he takes aggressive angles to get their faster and he's athletic enough to do it and also cuts a number of plays shorter than if he took normal angles, which might be worth a few missed tackles and they said it was Savages communications that helped pull all the DBs together at the end of the year.
Now to the one player that isn't a FA, they must of written a great answer for him, right?
Campbell was injured, missed a few games and isn't on a cheap rookie contract, and McDuffie played for Hafley in college.
Um, is that all you got? Because that was weak... didn't even mention the best point of Campbell being pissed at one point for being balmed while he was fighting though injuries while playing.
A healthy Campbell has clearly been among the two ILBers, and unless he's demanding a trade or Packers think he's a locker room issue, there is absolutely no reason to get rid of him.
