The fact that we have the 11th overall defense is laughable and proves that stats don’t tell the whole story.

Anyway…

I am going to stay positive. There were some good things on the packers O last week. This game will be closer than we think. Packers squeak out a win. 24-20

Packers passing offense looks like it's on the upswing. Guys are learning the offense, how to play it.

Seems like a good week to work on the passing game - the Chargers struggle against the pass. I could see this being a higher scoring game than we are used to this year - we will be in trouble if we don't put points up consistently on Sunday.

Our defense will have their hands full, probably going to see more of the usual soft zone to limit big plays. This is a game where the guys up front need to get in the backfield and give their QB a bad time.

This is a winnable game. Definitely need to minimize the dumb penalties and sustain drives - our defense will be gassed by half time if we continually go 3 and out.

Chargers transaction
11/15
~ Some OLB to the IR.
~ Signed OLB Justin Hollins to the active roster off N.Y. Giants' practice squad.

Interesting timing, signing Hollins right before they play his former team. That being said Chargers head coach, like Joe Barry, coached Hollins while they were the Rams.

With the way the Chargers D is, it's hard to get a read on this for me. They have some legit pass rushers and depending on who starts on the oline that could be a problem. But despite the talent and a defensive minded head coach, the Chargers D is flailing. On offense, they have an explosive passing attack and a legit duel weapon in Austin Ekeler. Ultimately, I just have a hard time seeing our banged up secondary hanging all game unless the pass rush makes life hell for Herbert.
Under Construction!

Zero2Cool (22h) : Dolphins get (back) Minkah Fitzpatrick in trade
Zero2Cool (22h) : Steelers land Jalen Ramsey via Trade
dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
