Getting rid of a GOOD veteran player who genuinely enjoyed being in Green Bay in exchange for a bucket of balls. Great idea!

I think any player is trade-worthy for the right price. You just have to get crazy with the price like Patrick Mahomes for Joe Burrow plus Jamar Chase plus two 1st round picks or something absurd like that.

GM's are always looking to the future.(the good ones anyway)
Right now The Packers have their 1st rnd pick, 2-#2's and 2-#3's.
That gives Gutey plenty of ammo to move up if he wants
I read where The Packers will probably get their 5th rnd pick back as a comp. Pick.
I'll let Gute worry about the 2024 draft.
I'm going to look for improvement in all phases of THIS TEAM .

That logic is horrible, as Comp picks are for losing a player in FA, not for trading a pick away... and the Comp pick is coming anyways, it's not replacing the 5th that was lost, even if it's a 4th, it doesn't replace the 5th, it replaces the FA that was lost.

Which currently, the Packers comp picks should be...

4th for WR Lazard
6th for DT Reed
6th for DT Lowry
Nada for the Rest...

The picks aren't as good as they could of been (missing out on the Jets 1st)... but having two 2nd, 3rd and 4ths will be more fun having two in a lot of rounds.
