Considering Aaron Rodgers gets his paycheck from the Johnson & Johnson heir, I'm gonna say it's a coin-toss between:

1. He doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself as long as he gets his money
2. He's trolling with this vaccine stuff to weed out the Dunning-Krugers in his life (see also: 9/11 conspiracies)

I can't say I miss him. I can still watch his hour spots on Pat McAfee if I so choose to. I don't miss him as QB of the Green Bay Packers. This isn't a knock on him, I just felt it was well beyond time to part ways. I was ready after his last MVP, but I doubt any GM wants to be the guy who trades All-Pro WR and NFL MVP QB in the same off-season.

I've listened to Aaron Rodgers talk about vaccines. He's made some good points. And also makes a lot of stretch judgements too. I do enjoy people commenting on his stance on vaccines because it shows how selectively ignorant they are. Who can blame them though? Do they really want to acknowledge that Aaron said vaccines are a good thing? Nope. It's easier to spew hate than take time to understand his point.

From what I gather from a distance, I admire his personality and think he's an interesting person. Let's keep in mind, I said interesting, not informative! haha.

I also enjoy that he yanks folks chains so hard with this stuff. He knows it's gonna get attention so of course the attention whore side of him is gonna pull the punches.

I couldn't agree more.

And I am glad Jordan Love is our quarterback and the Gutey pulled the trigger on a great trade.

What I think a lot of us forget is there is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Just because Woody Johnson inherited all that money doesn't mean he privately supports this or that. It's his cash cow so he's likely to put on a good face in public for the sake of the business.

Separately, I have seen it numerous times where Aaron will toss a barb at a reporter that comes off arrogant or prick-like. But what isn't as widely known is he has a good rapport with a lot of them. He's the king of inside jokes. Hell, watch him on Pat McAfee show and he's always digging AJ Hawk. But they're best of friends.

In THAT sense, yes, Aaron doesn't care what people think of him because he values his direct one on one friendships more than what it looks like to the rest of the world. Maybe it's a lack of self awareness or maybe he just wants to have a good time with his buddies?

So, does he care what people think, or who he irritates? Absolutely. Does he care if he upsets you or me? No, because we have zero personal relationship with him.

The local Piggly Wiggly here loved him. He never was "too big" to chat with a fan or shoot the shit with the cashiers. Funny you don't hear about those stories on ESPN or Tweeter other than a footnote in some rambling rant. (see what I did there?)

I haven't really heard him complaining about the attention he gets. More so just him acknowledging whatever he does will get attention. Almost like he's bragging about it in subtle but obvious arrogant manner.

I enjoy Rodgers the player, enjoy watching him play this game, but I do not mind turning the page to Love.

Everyone has their right to their opinion, but with his platform he knows it is going to cause a ripple across the social media world. He knows it and honestly thrives on it. Just from a team aspect, you don't need it.
