11-5

Like most have said, while the QB change is the big story, the rest of the team is mostly the same, and damn talented. With the experience of last season's success and deep playoff run, this team knows how to go about business. Adding rookies like Jordy Nelson and Sitton didn't hurt either.

I agree with IronMan
It's 16-0 AND Superbowl.

Of course, I reserve the right to change my prediction anytime...!

But, IF you don't go into EVERY game believing that you were going to win, why play?

Believe!

Actually, I pray for this team. I hope God blesses the Packers with yet another superior and fun filled season.

It's already more unsettled because of the absence of #4. Which may lead to more intrigue!...What fun!

The Packers going 5-11 is about as likely as George Bush getting a 3rd term.

5-11 and Ted Thompson gets fired at the end of the year

Well.....after the Packers beat the Lions today, your prediction will be proven wrong.
AndTed Thompsonwon't be fired at the end of this year.

IF the packers were to go 5-11, you don't thinkTed Thompsonwould lose his job?

He just signed a 5 year extension. To be honest, I don't think he would be fired if he actually does go 5-11. I think Ted Thompson would only "gamble" on Rodgers if he was pretty certain a poor season with Rodgers wouldn't affect his job. I mean, if he hadn't had such 3 great seasons on the rise, would he be so adamant in having Rodgers over Favre?

I'm sure his own job security factored into it at some point, to some degree, and I think he came to the conclusion that there's a significant upside in moving on with Rodgers vs. the risk of having a real stinker and losing his job.

If we can beat Dallas next week I think we'll go 12-4 and be the team to beat in the NFC. On paper we won't win the SB this year but we'll shake some heads. Rodgers could have a Tom Brady like 2001 season and win a SB his first year as a starter... never say never.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
