As much as we talk about the tackles, I do think there's an intriguing option inside for the Packers.

If you ask most who the weak link is on the line, I think they say Yosh Nijman. That played out a few times last year as they benched him in favor of Zach Tom. I'm not sure Tom fared much better at right tackle. He struggled in space. He seems better suited for the inside. In fact, I think he could be really good inside.

How temping will it be for the team to go with Tom at center in place of Josh Myer, who has been inconsistent since day one. While that still leaves right tackle as an issue, it probably ensures you are putting the best interior line on the field with Jenkins/Tom/Runyan.

For a team that I think wants to pound the rock and be physical, this has to be a tempting path to take, especially if Tom has a good camp.

I think Tom could be the future long term starting OT, the big thing for him would be to stop moving him around, let him practice at one maybe two spots.

They had Tom at LT, then LG, then RG, then C and back to LG, then RT... where I was asking why he wasn't at RT to start with? I understand that they needed to work him at LT, and then Center because Patrick went down with injury, but the rest didn't quite make sense to me until finally got moved to RT.
