What if Rodgers has told them he wants to come back with a more team friendly deal?  What if Bahktiari's rumored restructure of his contract is part of that understanding?

Could it be Love who is on the trading block.

Gutey has said, yes "he has to play," but it could be for the Jets.  If I wanted to talk him up, that is exactly what I would say.

Perhaps I am all wet, but I don't think it out of the realm of possibility.

Thoughts?

The restructuring of deals needs to be done regardless of Aaron Rodgers. It'll need to be done until they just bite the bullet and take their medicine.

This is the time for dis-information.

Everyone (talking heads) wants to be the first to break the news.
I love how almosrt everyone of these shows the "stars" start out with "so tirred of talking about Aaron Rodgers, then they spend the next hour talking about Aaron Rodgers.

Didn't The Bucks just go undefeated in February?
Didn't Baseball just announce several new rules for the new season?
Isn't March Madness starting to gear up?

None of these clowns care because They Just Have To Talk About Aaron Rodgers!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!       #clickbaitworld

Unfortunately Love has no trade value and Aaron is on borrowed time.  We have kicked the can down the road that we are going to be in cap hell for the foreseeable future if none of our suits don't get the act together and admit reality that we are never going to win.  Then again I am thinking some people might be in self-preservation mode and worry that trading Rodgers and correcting the cap likely means  coaches and GMs losing their job.

Matt and Gutey's jobs and legacies are predicated on Love at this point. I think they'll be fine, but that's where it's at now. That die has been cast. Time to see what happens.

Imagine if Rodgers has told Green Bay front office he refuses to play anywhere else, does not plan to retire & wants to stay with the Packers in some capacity. What can they offer him? 2 years as back-up QB? Then perhaps Assistant QB Coaching position? I don't know, maybe he would even take a Packers commentator or TV broadcast position. If the guy wants to stay "with the team", what can we offer?

This is certainly the best sign I have seen that Rodgers is staying with the Packers:

Today Schefter said the following:
"My sense is ultimately it will come down to whether he wants to play elsewhere, which would be really the New York Jets, or whether he wants to retire. To me, those are the two most logical options and the two most likely scenarios here."

I would want a 1st and 3rd  but if they ate a huge chunck of the contract then they can have both for a 3rd and 4th lol
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I think it's possible that Rodgers could stay and Love could be traded away, I don't think it's likely, but I think all options are on the table still.

Rodgers could retire, play for Packers or be traded to AFC team of his choice (assuming they are willing to pay)... NFC team might be tougher, but maybe some team like the Panthers whom reportedly asked about Rodgers, would be unlikely, but not completely out of the question.

The real questions are... will Rodgers continue to play? When will this become official (behind the scenes) and what other teams are in play for whichever QB the Packers decide to trade.

Raiders are claiming they're out of the Rodgers bidding because they have too many holes and it'll cost too much to get Rodgers... BUT I don't believe you can fully ever trust what head coach Josh McDaniels says, and they were in win now mode just last off-season and the Raiders owner was seemingly pissed that other teams fans were out numbering their fans and they didn't get enough star power and hype and wins, but the owner usually does let the head coach run things.

Titans new GM says they're going forward with Ryan Tannehill, but poor offensive moves is what got the last GM fired... and they can save 17.8 million by releasing Tannehill from the last year of his deal. Which I assume with happen, but they have no reason to do it before getting another QB in place first.

Jets and Panthers have reportedly contacted the Packers about Rodgers.

But how much are they willing to pay?

Panthers did not contact Packers.Raiders did not claim they're out on Rodgers. It's only assumed by media who can't understand. You can get Rodgers and QB of future at same time. Just because they fork over first round pick doesn't mean they can't find QB of future in a later round. Gotta understand coach speak is like onion. Many layers, like Shrek lol

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?

Martha Careful (10-Jun) : I wasn't supposed to say anything, but yes the word is out and we are happy 😂😂😂
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : I might be late on this but Aaron Rodgers is now married
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : key transactions coming today at 3pm that will consume more cap in 2025
