The Miami Dolphins traded Larry Tunsil and Kenny Stills to Houston for the 1st round picks in 20 and 21. They then traded away the #26 pick in the 2020 draft to some team that moved up to draft a qb and that qb was Jordan Love. In return, they received the 30th pick and the 136th pick. (30th pick CB Noah Igbinoghene, and surprisingly they traded away the 136th). BTW Miami had the #5 pick in this draft and selected Tua.

So let's move to the 2021 draft where they had the #3 which they decided to trade off to the 49ers and in return, they received 2021 1st, 2022 1st, and 3rd, and 2023 1st. So then they received the #12 from SF which they then traded to Philly along with a 4th round to move back to #6 and they drafted Jaylen Waddle.
So so far from the Tunsil trade the main piece received was Waddle.

On to 2022 and what does Miami do but they decide to trade a 1st and 2nd accumulated thru the trades to KC in return they got Tyreek Hill.

So now they have gotten Waddle and Hill from those picks.

And finally, the last piece was just traded to Denver as they sent the 2023 1st from Houston to them for Bradly Chubb.

So they basically traded Larry Tunsil and Kenny Stills for Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb. Throw in there they were still able to draft Tua without missing a beat.

That looks like a hell structure for rebuilding, hint hint Brian we have Bahkatari 😉
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I said at the time of that Texans/Dolphins trade, it was stupid of the Texans and wondered if they would of given up the same for Bakhtiari and some thought I was crazy for consider trading a then healthy Bakhtiari, but the Texans seriously stupidly gave up too much and to top it all off, they failed to lock in a new contract for the OT so he literally got to demanded 130% of #1 LT money (which screwed up the entire LT market) and it's still not clear if he was a top 10 LT (some can easily argue he wasn't).

But yes, to your point, that is one hell of a way to rebuild, and the Dolphins had a lot of weapons before had, but no OL, they also got a LT in FA and some other peices too.

TT had his flaws in ealry rounds but hit on WRs late rounds and never used FA market. Brian uses FA market for defense, drafts mostly defense, and cant do anything for the offense at all.

Its clear that under Mark Murphy and the packers family mafia BOD, we cant scout or draft compared to other teams on the rise and those who are already estabmished.

The Packer way post Holmgren era has always been QB reliant. Its the reason why Favre only ended up with only one ring and the reason why Rodgers will never win another one while playing for the Packers.

How many SB's......forget that
how many playoff appearances have they made in the last 5 ywars?
How many top 6 picks have they had?

Looks like they might have finally got things going in the right direction.

That doesn't mean their way is the  ONLY way..

If /when The Dolphins and actually win something, then I'll tip my cap to them.

Until then,  don't really care how they do it.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

You have to admit they got a very nice return for those 2 players. I wish we could get something like that for Aaron Rodgers lol.
