I don't know how much they have had Nixon back there in practice, I would suspect quite a bit, but still, when you factor in what had happened with Amari Rodgers, the pressure would be enormous. He did look a bit dicey, but he also looks like he can do something with a punt return. He looks decisive. I liked that pickup right from the start, and it's time to just let Amari go, imo. Punt return duty takes real confidence, and Amari ebbs and flows in that department. Simply cannot afford his inconsistencies

Keep Rodgers on kick off returns and Nixon on punt returns. Problem solved

That's relocating the problem, not solving the problem. And besides, this team has more kick returns than punt returns.

I liked that he was catching with his hands (not the over the head catch) because how many times have we seen the ball go right thru arms or bounce off the pads. Plus him using his hands made me think he is very confident in his ability. Rodgers reminds me of someone scared not to screw up and you can't be thinking you need to react,
