They could have easily been 0-5.
Even the Bears game could have gone the other way, had Fields 4th down QB sneak been called a TD. Which it looked pretty close to being one.
And that would have made it a 7 point game at the time, which would have given our defense a chance to blow it.
Our other wins were against a TB team that was down important players on offense.
And against a third string QB that forced us into overtime.
So we are lucky to not be farther down then we are now.
But they can't afford anymore poor showings on the field, or they will be too far down to recover.
JMO of course.

By my standards, they're 1-4. But the season is young.

But it's the same dumb mistakes each week. The same good one half, lousy the other half. And we haven't even played against a great team yet.
Can you see us beating the Bills? I don't.

I can handle mistakes. What bothers me is seeing the same errors from game to game. Basically says we're not learning from our mistakes. If you can't learn from the mistakes you make, there's no real hope other than hoping the other team gives you the game.

Our coaches are likely incapable of making on the fly adjustments as our poor performance in second halves would indicate. Other teams adjust to our game planning and we do not adjust to the adjustments. We seem mystified that the opponents are modifying their game plans.

Other observations:

Defense

Very disappointed with Clark, Reed, Slaton, et al on the interior (especially Clark, he showed me NOTHING). They were easily handled, generally man on man.
Gary was disappointing, a few pressures, but his worst game of the year.
Quay non-existent against the run (although great v pass)
Savage looks lost. I don't know if he is just dumb, but he seems to make a high number of mental mistakes.
Why are we constantly in zone with the best trio of starting corners in the league...dumb. Plus Savage should be a great cover safety. This personnel should allow man over, man under not just the zone and combo crap they play
Offense

Our receivers are just friggin slow
The pass route schemes are uninspiring and ineffective
I don't need to wait for the PFF scores, Newman stinks
What happened to Dillon? He used to be a punishing runner, now he is just a guy...maybe he's just lost it.
Other than Big Dog, our TE block like sissies. They just don't have the stones to stick their noses in there
As has been mentioned, the play calling is simply abysmal. We rarely repeat successful plays and play selection on the goal line was moronic at best.
Other than that, we looked pretty bad
Go Packers!!!!

If they can even make the playoffs like they are playing?
They are doing the same things over and over and expecting a different results.
Other teams see that we are unable (or too stubborn) to make adjustments , so they know all they need to know to beat us.
And as it stands, the Jets can watch all our game tapes and already know what to do to destroy our team on offense and defense.

Was it just me or does Rodgers look like he gets an attitude when he doesn't get the pass plays called? He is always bitching at Matt which doesn't look too well for the young players. And man that annual wasted Time Out cost us today, we could have gotten the ball back with a minute left, but then again if we would have stuck with our offense we wouldn't have been behind. Also, has Rodger's accuracy diminished that dad the last few years that he can't throw over 20 yards, on the deep throws the guys don't even have a chance to make an attempt to catch the ball. I am with others also why are we running a damn zone defense I think Jaire should be the slot. Douglas gets to many penalties and beat when he is covering the slot.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Rodgers has no timing with the current WRs.
Plus, there was no separation from the DBs. MVS and Adams got separation. Even Doubs, who was supposed to be the speed guy, couldn't get away from coverage.
Plus Rodgers had guys in his face all game again. Our O-line has not been good this year. No QB, no matter how good he is, can't hit WRs if he doesn't have time to find them or for them to have the time for the play to develop.
