Pre-Draft
Saints get
2022 16th overall
2022 19th overall
2022 194th overall

Eagles get
2022 18th overall
2022 101st overall
2022 237th overall
2023 1st rounder
2024 2nd rounder

Trade Day
Commanders get
2022 16th overall
2022 98th overall
2022 120th overall

Saints get
2022 11th overall

And then Saints use that 11th overall on a WIDE RECEIVER!!! That WR might be a good one, but when you have as many holes as the Saints, you don't poopoo that much draft capital. Be thankful we have a front office who isn't stupid, lol.

Saints also got OT Trevor Penning, 6'7", 325 lbs, Northern Iowa whom has a long wingspan (which the Saints always seem to value in linemen) and he was an absolute elite run blocker at a lower level, I believe PFF said they scored his run blocking at a 99.9 level, which has never happened. Still has work to do to improve his pass blocking, but he has the physical tools to be good at it.

I'm not the only one who gets it. Even a blue check mark does. Looks like the Tweet was tooken downsie.

"I like Chris Olave with the #Saints, he'll fit right in with them and should do very well. But consider what he cost, how many actually proven NFL players are worth a: 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th."

I'm just pointing out that the Saints (whom are extremely well known for being over aggressive), got two players, not just one for these over aggressive moves.

More folks noticing what I did days ago.

this is absolutely insane

in order to draft WR Chris Olave, OT Trevor Penning & a 6th....

the Saints gave up picks that amount to the following:

WR A.J. Brown
WR Jahan Dotson
RB Brian Robinson Jr
QB Sam Howell
TE Cole Turner
LB Kyron Johnson
2023 1st round pk
2024 2nd round pk
