What I got most out of this, is that while Bahk is cleared to practice/play, he's not yet close to his own high standards... and he's gonna have to grind this season out...
As for Newman, he's had some down right horrible games at times... making me wonder why they haven't seemed to consider Nijman as one of the top 5 and gotten the top 5 in there, but they don't seem to want Nijman in the interior, and want their best guys at OT.
Though I should also note sometimes it's extremely hard to grade linemen if you don't know what their call was and as TJ Lang has suggested, it could be impossible to grade fairly without knowing the call.
Such as, are they trying to give the LG help, and leaving the RG all alone and that's why he's struggling more?
But I think they've decided to stick with Newman for the long haul in hopes the experience will help him grow faster and as he has so much more potential than Patrick.
But also I'd like to read more about Jon Runyan, because Runyan in preseason sucked! While Runyan in regular season has looked quite good! What changed? That normally doesn't happen like that... were they just asking him to work too many positions, LG, OC and RG and he couldn't focus on one, and now he is? Or is he getting scheme help? Or did benching him just piss him off and now he's suddenly playing a heck of a lot better?
