Rodgers sat for what, 3 years behind Favre? Who knows how many more years he would have been willing to wait to play.
Hazer.....why would it get you "pissed" that some think Rodgers might have left if he wouldn't have got the chance to play this year?
It's ONLY their opinion. Just like you have had many opinions that have made me wonder "What is that guy thinking?"
So if they disagree with you you go on the attack.
Ok.......if that makes you happy.

to me his heart is still in green bay

Right. Which is why he asked to be released -- not traded, but released -- to, of all teams, the Minnesota Vikings. Not only did he ask for the opportunity to play for the Packers' archrivals, he asked for an arrangement that wouldn't have so much as given any sort of benefit back to the Packers.

You're writing from a purely emotional vantagepoint, with no logic whatsoever.

By the way, it annoys the piss out of me that Favre's name is misspelled in the thread title. It's hard to take someone seriously when they don't even take the time to spell the guy's name correctly.

Would one of the mods kindly correct the misspelling? I'd greatly appreciate it.

It pisses me off cuz people don't look at the facts Rodgers was under contract thru 2009 so he couldn't have gone anywhere. Then these people say he would have left if Brett came back.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Yeah, but a disgruntled QB sitting on the bench thats supposed to be your team's future wouldn't be exactly great.

Yes, his name should be put up there.

Actually, this might make a good Snickers commercial.
Similar to the Kansas City Chefs endzone misspelling.
At the unveiling ceremony, have his name misspelled on a fake covering.

Lots of fail to be found here as well: :magnifyglass:

Thank you for bringing up the typo. It's been driving me nuts for weeks. I'm going to take the liberty of editing it now.
