Not free agents, but available so to speak.. wonder if Winslow makes any sense in Green Bay?

Probably not, Finley is the same type of TE and has less baggage and more upside long term..

2. I know that Browns QB Derek Anderson will be on the trading block very soon, and if the Browns are unable to get anyone to take him off their hands, theyll release him before his roster bonus is due in March.

3. I know that the Browns will also trade tight end Kellen Winslow this off-season and that he has not been a part of any discussions with coaching candidates.

I saw a few names that popped out but one i liked and would love to see the packers maybe go after and its not a big name. Jim Leonhard would be nice. He played ball at Wisconsin and is a wisconsin boy. He played on the Ravens D so maybe he would bring in some attitude. He would be good at safety and also returns punts. I don't think it would take alot to sign him and i believe he would become a fan fav fast. Baltimore won't be able to sign all there defensive players so someone has to go.

Mark your calendars, I agree w/ dhazer. I love, love, love me some Jimmy Leonhard - I don't know that we need to be signing any safeties over other position needs, but I wouldn't mind at all if he came to Green Bay.

I like Winslow a lot, but I'm afraid he's on the downside of things (too many nasty, nagging injuries), and sadly enough he doesn't seem to have inherited his father's classiness.

I'm not thrilled with Finley's attitude, but he's a kid and he can grow out of that stuff. Physically, he could be better than Winslow in not too long.

Lots of interesting names there. Bart Scott is my favorite, and is an absolute must at ILB if we decide to go with the 3-4. Good OLB in 4-3 too.

Jimmy Leonhard grew up and played ball 30 miles from my home. This kid is special everywhere he goes. Walk on starter at wisconsin. Undrafted in the nfl. Street signed by the bills. Now with a injury at Baltimore he is a starter there. He is playing lights out football and the ravens were so taken by how smart he is they made him the defensive play caller after 2 days of practice with the first team. ME LIKEY JIMMMY ALSO!!!!!

Jets | Likely will be interested in Leonhard
Mon, 09 Feb 2009 15:43:19 -0800

Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets likely will be interested in Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent FS Jim Leonhard if he does not re-sign with the Ravens.

Jets | To focus on Scott in free agency?
Tue, 10 Feb 2009 08:41:07 -0800

Dave Hutchinson, of The Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets should focus on signing Baltimore Ravens LB Bart Scott, an impending free agent. With LB Eric Barton an unrestricted free agent, the Jets have an opening at the inside linebacker spot alongside LB David Harris and Scott would be a perfect fit if the team can afford him.

Surprise Surprise Ryan going after Ravens defensive players.

The part im stumped on is they are actually like 7 million over the cap so could this be a sign on Brett?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

My favorite name on that list is Jordan Gross. It would be so nice to have that guy on our o-line.
