Watching the game today, one thing I noticed, the Badger QB, Mertz, throws a very slow ball. Many times he could have had a completion if he could throw the ball with some ZIP. It’s so slow, the DBs have time to make up space.
The WRs get open for the split second, and by the time the ball gets there, the DB is there.

And the Badger defense is getting burned to a crisp all second half.

The Badgers should have won this game. Mertz is awful as a QB.
I can’t see them winning many games with him as QB. INTs and fumbles, you won’t win many games.
And like I stated before, guys get open and the ball should be there. But by the time Mertz throws the ball, the DB makes it back.

I didn't catch the game. Generally speaking, I thought we loved Mertz? One game into this season and we hate him now? Can I like him? Can I give him a few games or must I pitch fork him immediately? I read Badgers should have won the game a few different times but Mertz blew it. And how the hell did the kid rush like 6 times for -29 yards? Probably pitch fork time, am I right??

All I did was state the FACT that he looked/played awful.
So now no one can criticize how a player played, and you want to ride a member out on a rail for daring to point out the facts?
Of course I hope he improves. Really, I don’t think he could play much worse.
The fumbles, the interceptions, and all was just plain bad. And that was all on him.
I’m sorry if that upsets you, Zero.
I DID watch the game. So my review of it is what I saw. I wish he didn’t look that bad.
And some of the passes he did complete were great plays by the WRs. Not because he was on target with the throw.
Before you criticize me, maybe you should actually watch the game to see if my thoughts on his play were out of line or over the top.
Of course it was my OPINION of how he played.
I don’t hate the guy. Just saying what I saw. If he looked awesome, I would have said that.

You posted it after what I said. You blame me for thinking your comment was directed towards me?
This place is getting weird.
You used to take the time to say “this isn’t directed towards you, Alan, just a general statement”.
You didn’t say anything like that this time.
I guess I’ll give myself a “time out”.
Look back at your post. You said “and now WE hate him?”
WE?
Now can YOU see why I thought you were commenting on what I said?

No, I cannot see why you ran to that assumption and instead of asking for clarification instead teed off on me. I don't understand that. I don't feel it's necessary to get defensive. If I am responding TO someone, I QUOTE them in my post. That's the purpose of the quote feature. At least, that is how I understand the purpose of it. Thankfully we have Green Bay Packers football coming up in less than a week! GO PACK GO!!!

Ok. Sorry. Didn’t mean to hurt you.
It won’t happen again.
I hope we enjoy the season.
Maybe I’ll pop in a couple times to see how it’s going.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
