I feel like Raji was more of a 3T penetrating DT... drafted to play two gap which wasn't a great fit for him.
Slaton is more of a very athletic two gapper, that doesn't nessarily get a lot of penetration. But I think this system is a huge mixture of different things, nothing is played 50% of the time.
My big thing with Slaton is as long as he stays athletic he can become great, but he's struggled with weight and if that gets up there (as some DTs with money have struggled more with) then he could have more problems.
So the question is which hungry will take him over, the hungry to be great, or the hungry of food?
But yeah, he's got a very bright future in run stopping at the very least if he can maximum his potential.
Also considering teams are usually willing to risk a bit more and take a gamble on large athletes and he fell to 173, they didn't like something in their research.
