The Jets record over the last 4 games is 1-3....and they won that game against Buffalo because of the defense.

How many time do i have to tell you........logic and factual information can not get into Fred's head anytime it pertains to Brett Favre! You are wasting your time!
Yes......those that have the ability to THINK and procees FACTS know that the Jets D saved Favre's butt that game with a fumble recovery that scored the game winning TD. But Fred can't process ANY information that might take some of the shine off his "hero".
Favre could go on a shooting rampage and ol' Fred would blame the people he shot for getting in the way of Favre's rifle.

Yes, the D saved Brett Favre a few times, but Brett Favre saved the D as many times as well. I personally think the Jets D for the most part this season didnt play well at all. They shined a few times this season but most of the games they sucked. Favre is my hero as well. Again Favre has made mistakes, but this doesnt make him any less of hero to me.

Heather..........the point i am making is..........Brett Favre is not perfect. And he's not the main reason the Jets have won as many games as they have this year. Favre is not the "great" QB he was when he was here in the 1990's. He's ranked 18th in the NFL. There are 32 teams. Which means he is in the botton half of NFL QB's. The guy is average at this point in his career. Not knocking him, just stating facts.
Fred seems to think that when the Jets win, it's because of Favre, when they lose, it's because of everyone else. The guy doesn't have even ONE foot in reality. He makes hypocritical comment after hypocritical comment.
Hero worship is fine, as long as you also back up your beliefs with some factual information. If you look at what Favre has done this year, you have to admit he's only an average QB at this time in his career. Now, that isn't saying the guy was never great, as he was at one point in his career. But he isn't now......and all that is is facing reality. Which in my view, theres nothing wrong with admitting that. NO PLAYER ever stays at the top forever.

dfosterf (5h) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (6h) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (6h) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (7h) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (9h) : what
Martha Careful (20h) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (20h) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
