Things were pretty subdued today as Matt LaFleur indicated he'd be taking it pretty easy on the guys. Expect things to ramp up considerably tomorrow.

Couple nice reps from De'vondre Campbell today, sifting through the wash and cutting through to the ball carrier. He looks like a solid addition. Interested to see how physical he is when the pads come on. Rashan Gary has had a good start to camp, but he could not get around Elgton Jenkins today. Jenkins has been playing out at left tackle with the starters while David Bakhtiari is out and has been an absolute wall. The Packers did mix things up along the starting offensive line a few times during team stuff today, with Billy Turner at left tackle and Dennis Kelly at right tackle. They also brought in Ben Braden at right guard for a spell. Jaire Alexander vs Davante Adams is worth the trip to training camp alone. On one rep, Adams tried to get him on a double move and Alexander was all over it. Later in practice, Alexander dropped out for a bit with some apparent muscle tightness. While he was being stretched out on the sideline, Eric Stokes drew Davante Adams in coverage. It did not end well for the rookie, who actually had decent coverage on a fade in the red zone. But a perfect pass from Rodgers and classic late hands from Davante, there was nothing for Stokes to do except take notes. Jace Sternberger had a couple nice catches over the middle. Tight ends coach Justin Outten worked with him early in practice on some procedural things, like releasing out after motioning across the formation. Jordan Love is not afraid to throw into the middle of the field, I'll give him that much. But he got away with one late in team stuff when he tried to zip one between three defenders and nearly threw an interception. Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers began practice fielding punts. Cobb mentioned yesterday that he may contribute as a returner at times during the season. [/list] Continue Reading @
