Kampman himself said he didn't want to move to RE, despite Bob Sanders (and our DE coach) saying Kampman could move there if he wanted.

Bob Sanders gave him free reigns to play where ever he thinks it's best for him along the DL, but Kampman said he is used to playing LE and he's comfortable with how his body torques from that position, so he wanted to stay there. Basically he thought that was the position he could offer the most to this team from.

There was an article about Kampman being reluctant to switch on JSOnline a month or so back. (I really don't have the energy to go dig it up... but it's there if you're interested in looking)

Seriously, everything isn't Bob Sanders' fault, or his ineptness.

It was nice to see Kampman rushing the other side. And I am sure it has been something that has been in the works for a couple weeks. When a player has practiced for years rushing from a certain side, it takes some practice to get the body use to making the moves needed from the other side.

In the future I would like to see more switching up. If we only had a reliable rush from the other side. Which ever side that be.

I still don't understand why we didn't resign KGB after we put some players on IR...

At least he could provide some depth...I mean, he couldn't be any worse than what we already have over on the right side.

Who would the team get rid of, in order to resign KGB. KGB was guaranteed to begone next season, and his loss IMO did not cause any drop in defensive production. He was not playing at all well this year.

I liked what he did in his last Packers game. Dropping back a bit to sto the run.

If they came u with a gameplan that made hm drop back in coverage from time to time and got a LB or DB in there on a blitz, he could be used quite well in this struggeling defense.

That would be a longshot though and I think we're better of signing some raw talent than getting KGB back, as much as I hate to say it.
