Packers Will Face Challenging 2021 Schedule

Home: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, NFC East winner, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Away: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.

The NFL is expected to add a 17th game next season as a way to drive up revenue. That 17th opponent will “be an interconference matchup based on divisional standings” from the previous season, and “on a rotating divisional basis.” That means the Packers would play Buffalo (AFC East), Tennessee or Indianapolis (AFC South) or Kansas City (AFC West).

@ NOLA and SF AGAIN? That's as bad as playing Dallas 100 times in a row all in Texas.

That’s why we need to win it all this season.
Next year will really be tough.

Yeah, we have to play both the best two divisions in football this year, next year... that might be tough... of course, they're partly the best because they both got to beat up on the NFC East... but they're still good as well.

Also, I believe the 17th game will be against the Chiefs... as the current AFC cycle for the NFC North goes

2021: AFC North
2022: AFC East
2023: AFC West
2024: AFC South

And it sounded as if the NFL wanted to choose the division that was two years off... so 2023... so the NFC/AFC teams couldn't meet in back to back years unless they made it to the Super Bowl.... so that would be the AFC West and the Chiefs won that division.

One or more of those teams will have a losing record next year. Happens every year that some good team this year is bad the following. At the end of the 2021 season, the Packers schedule will probably be middle of the road.

The only games that will be interesting is the STEELERS, SAINTS, & RAVENS. The division games are basic as usual. These 3 games would be nice if scheduled in primetime.
