It's be interesting to see how many WR snaps Ervin and Taylor gets... as they were kept on the 53 ahead of Shepherd.

And from something I read suggesting the Saints struggled a bit with WR speed and DBs getting grabby, they might want Ervin and Taylor who have run pretty fast 40 times with MVS and Lazard.

DT Clark and OL Jenkins are questionable

And a whole bunch of other guys, but listed as playing with the most interesting ones being
• OC Linsley with a thumb injury, I believe in his snapping hand
  • OL Turner and DL Adams being a surely playing for once.
  •
P Scott getting a personal day off, which got one writer to bring up how two years ago, his wife was pregnant during the season and they had a backup in case he needed to be with her when their first child was coming, which may or may not have anything to do with this personal day
I can't help but ask why Shepherd and not Begelton?
Shepherd did nothing positive for the Packers last year. I have to seriously doubt that Shepherd gets any snaps unless they run out of bodies.

And other than hype what exactly has Begelton done? Less than Sherperd based on the coaches actions.

    As for Sherperd,
    1) He claims he's improved

    2) He knows the system after being in it over a year and Rodgers probably knows him

    3) Sherperd might have the lowest physical ceiling of the PS WRs but he also might have the highest floor

    4) Ervin might get more WRs snaps and just had a concussion (I think that was his Injury?) and while Josh Jackson replaced him, we still could use an emergency returner if needed.

    5) When the WRs get healthy, and/or ILB Martin, they might have to release someone, so they might release the guys that just got called up potential (or Burks or Summers) and therefore, and they could potentially be claimed away. So just because someone is being lifted now, doesn't nessarily they're the ones in the long term plans... Shepherd got on the 53 before Lazard too, and how is that going?

Long story short: Sherperd might be the safe choice, knows the system the best, most verstility, backing up the difference roles...
