I think the Packers trade their 30th overall pick with the Dolphins 39th overall and also get pick #70 out of it.

Packers get 39th and 70th.
Dolphins get 30th.

We're all right that the four teams in front of us wouldn't have likely drafted Jordan Love. However, as some of us said they might trade the pick to someone else would may have selected him. Sounds like Colts were such a team.

Aaron was considered the #1 QB and the #1 overall player heading into the 2005 draft by a lot of people. Some didn't even consider Love to be worthy of a 1st round selection. At best he's the 3rd or 4th best QB this year.

Granted some of the fan reactions are wrong. In general you are going to see some of the fans complain about every player picked after the top 2 or 3 selections. Years ago there was a hilarious video of some dude losing his mind over the Justin Harrell selection. He was over the top in his reaction but in the end, he was right. It was a wasted pick.

Aaron was considered a possibility at #1 in a weak QB year, if you put out of college Rodgers in this draft class, then he's would of clearly been behind Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa.

And yes Love regressed and Rodgers didn't their last year in college, but Rodgers also didn't have 9 of the other 10 offensive starters leave (graduate or early NFL draft) on him and leave him with a brand new coaches and teammates to work with, as pervious coaches got hired to go coach at a new program. Just Love and an OT returned to that offense, and the blocking was worse. Love went Brett Favre on them, being behind, tried to do extra, take a chance to keep them into ball games and like Favre, he'd throw INTS at times doing so.

Do I think Love will develop like Rodgers? NO! Though I didn't think Rodgers would develop like Rodgers, I didn't think there was a QB worth a top 16 pick in 2005. And a majority of those teams agreed that Rodgers wasn't worth their 1st round draft choice that year, as Aaron Rodgers had a lot of uncertainty how he would develop just like Love does now.
