I'm thinking he should play next year and see how it goes. Remember most teams do running back by committee now so look at the so called big names that flamed out after signing the new huge deals. Look at how much we over paid for Rodgers and his contract. We would still have alot of money left to play in Free Agency. But back to Jones if he plays well next year slap the franchise tag on him, surprisingly as it stands right now its a 10 million dollar hit. and it gives you a whole year to work out a new contract. Hell look at how long Gordon sat waiting for a deal even though he was waiting for the raiders, chiefs or Broncos to offer him the contract. RB's are being proven to be a dime a dozen and it's sad to say but it's true.
