Jim Zorn just had the balls to throw a touchdown pass on 4th-and-goal from the 5-yard line. Too bad our coaching staff didn't have similar intestinal fortitude in that game against the Panthers.

this could just as easerly be over this time next week , bears lose to the saints thursday and the vikes win sunday its confimed , i can see both happening , as for the packers remaining games i wouldn't give up on them winning out , but its a matter of taking one game at the time and
from what i've seen of the jags this last week it certainly looks like they have given up on the year , they were horrible on MNF and by all accounts played the same way yesterday

wtf - i can't believe some of you are crappin on krazy for just stating how he feels about the season - if you weren't blind you'd realize it's ultimately a "feel good" thread. apparently that's not allowed. sheesh! rant over.

i agree with you 100% gangsta!! 😃

we shouldn't be 5-8.

We have absolutely earned our 5-8 record. Saying otherwise is disrespectful to the teams who have beaten us.

I am going to agree with Krazy and bigfog. The season is over. This team flat out quit. At least the defense did. For the talent that they have they should not let two teams in back to back games walk down field in just a few seconds to get the winning score. It was as if the other teeams offense had 11 players on the field while GB only had 7.

I have been more than a little bit frustrated with this GB team. I would not want to see them make the playoffs They would be too much of an embarrasment on a national stage.

I've said the same thing several times in the chat room. This team needs to crawl into a hole in shame and retool for next season.

Optimism is fine, folks....but blind faith is for fools.

Season over! No argument, no quibbling....this team is done.

Time to assess scheme, coaching staff and players. I believe we will see some major changes this off-season. If not, I will be terribly disappointed in team management.

KG is on the spot.....why lie to yourselves.

Let's keep fingers crossed; hope that injured players return to form; ineffective players/coaches shown th door; and MM having a major "awakening" as to what this team needs from him and staff during the week (live hitting/tackling for starts) and during the game (balls to play to win when opportunity presents itself).

Oh and rodgers, great season, but really under 2 min does he just go dumb? His decisions are horrible and it seems like they are throws where he is just giving up too.

"Greg C." wrote:

What did Rodgers do at the end of this game that was so bad? I believe it was a referee, not Rodgers, who called that bogus holding penalty on Moll, and I believe it was the O-line who allowed the jailbreak that led to a sack before Rodgers even had time to look downfield. He's made some mistakes at the ends of games, but I don't see any way to hang this one on him.

"JenningsSaveMe" wrote:

I was more so pointing out the dumb passes he throws when he has a chance to drive them down especially when he plays such a great game and then just makes careless throws when they really need him to be the leader. The falcons game was one and last week in carolina, he just threw it away for a jump ball with plenty of time to drive. He is just inconsistent when it counts and you would expect so much better based upon the game he has been playing.

Good thread Krazy!
At this point i'm kind of glad the "playoffs" are done for us. We'd only get creamed in the 1st round anyways.
As it's going.........we should have an easier schedule next year. And if they can fix our awful D, we could be set up for a REAL run.

What I don't understand is those that gripe about Rodgers being inconsistant. It's his FIRST starting year!
Yes, i get mad when he throws a bad pass, but i try to remember it's his first season starting, and he's thrown I believe 22 TD's and only 11 Ints.

If anyone wants to point fingers at why we lost yesterday. i can give you 549 reasons. Thats the yards they gained against our awful defense.
